Emergency & Critical Care Resident

After completing her undergraduate degree in microbiology, Dr. Roinestad went on to earn her veterinary degree from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine. Following graduation, she completed an advanced training program under a breadth of specialists, then worked as an emergency veterinarian in a busy specialty hospital in New York City.  Dr. Roinestad joined CUVS in 2022 to pursue a three year specialty residency in Emergency and Critical Care.

Dr. Roinestad believes in the collaborative approach to veterinary medicine, working with other clinicians, nurses, and support staff to provide the highest level of care to her patients. She also has a particular interest in pain management and has presented lectures and been engaged in research in this area.
