Emergency & Critical Care Resident

Dr. Damone completed his veterinary degree at Colorado State University where his passion for Emergency and Critical Care Medicine developed. Following graduation in 2020, he continued training through a mentored program in a large referral hospital.  Since that time, he has remained in specialty medicine working as an emergency veterinarian and a manager of the emergency department at a clinic in Colorado.  He has joined CUVS in 2024 to pursue specialty training in veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Medicine.

Dr. Damone enjoys the teaching aspect of being a veterinarian, including working with nurses, students and colleagues.  His focus is to help families better understand their pet’s medical condition for optimal decision making and outcomes.
